June is stroke month in Canada. You can’t reason with a stroke. The instant you recognize any of the signs, call 9-1-1 FAST. Do not drive to the hospital. An ambulance will drive you to the closest hospital that provides urgent stroke care.
Lifesaving treatment begins the second you call 9-1-1.
